Amy and Maria will be there to meet you in person, followed by transport directly to your hotel.

Exclusive gourmet dinner by a Michelin star chef specially curated for our group will be provided. Includes wine.
TUES, OCTOBER 15

Full European + American style gourmet breakfast provided. You must try it at least once, it is fabulous! Alternatively, we can provide you with recommendations for local coffee bars.
10:00 AM -1:30 PM – GUIDED WALKING/FOOD/SIGHTS TOUR OF FLORENCE
A local and knowledgeable English-speaking guide will lead you on a comprehensive and unforgettable tour of the highlights of Florence.- with food!
1:30 PM – 7:00 PM – FREE TIME – ENJOY BELLA FIRENZE! OPTIONAL ITALIAN FOR TRAVELERS CLASS OFFERED AT HOTEL.
Amy and Maria will be there exclusively at your disposal and are happy to make suggestions, help you make arrangements, or reservations upon request. We know Florence. Ask us! If you prefer, a 1.5 hour Italian for Travelers class will be offered at the hotel during this time, exclusively for our group.
7:30 PM – DINNER TOGETHER AT A FLORENTINE TRATTORIA
Enjoy typical Florentine cuisine at a Florentine restaurant frequented by locals.

THURS, OCTOBER 17

8:30 AM – WALKING DEPARTURE TO WINE TOUR PICK UP LOCATION.
Gather your luggage and leave with Maria at hotel, Amy will walk you in person at 8:30 am sharp to your wine tour pick up location.
9:00 AM – 3:30 PM – CHIANTI HILLS WINE TOUR + TUSCAN LUNCH
Leave in a private vehicle from your pick up location in the San Niccolò neighborhood of Florence. Enjoy your private tour of 2 wineries showcasing the wines of Tuscany in the hills of Chianti. You will be driven to two amazing wineries and in between stop for a typical Tuscan lunch which we know you will love.
3:30 PM – 4:30 PM – TRANSFER FROM WINERY, ARRIVAL TO TUSCANY AGRITURISMO, CHECK INTO APARTMENTS
Arrival at your second hotel stay, a beautiful agriturismo at a family owned and operated winery in the heart of Tuscany. Amy and Maria will have taken care of your luggage and it will be waiting for you in your very own apartment at the winery.
5:30 PM – 7:00 PM – WELCOME APERICENA (APERITIVO + LITE DINNER)
A welcome spread of salumi, cheeses, fruits, and other lite fare will be provided. Includes local wine.
FRI, OCTOBER 18
7:30 AM -9:00 AM – BREAKFAST AVAILABLE
A Tuscan breakfast and coffee will be provided. Enjoy your breakfast inside or “Al Fresco” outside on the terrace with the beautiful view of the vineyard.
9:00 AM – 11:00 AM – TIME TO RELAX. WANDER AND EXPLORE THE AGRITURISMO
After breakfast take some time to relax and wander. Relax by the pool read your favorite book, take a walk through the property. This is the slow Tuscan life.
11:00 AM -1:30 PM – TOUR OF WINERY/GROUNDS AT THE AGRITURISMO + GUIDED WINE TASTING + LITE LUNCH
You will be given a private tour of the premises by one of the family members from the winery in a slow, relaxed fashion. Then enjoy a private guided tasting on the terrace overlooking the vineyard accompanied by a lite lunch al fresco.
2:00 PM – 6:00 PM – HALF DAY TRIP TO SIENA
You will be picked up in a private vehicle and driven to nearby Siena – one of Tuscany’s most beautiful towns. A local expert resident guide will meet you and lead you through Siena’s sights and history. Lunch on your own. If you would like suggestions, we have them. Ask us, we are happy to help. You will be driven back to the agriturismo at 6:00pm.
7:30 PM – EXCLUSIVE VINEYARD DINNER
An exclusive Tuscan private dinner prepared specifically for our group, served to you in the vineyard. After, you can linger for dessert, take a nice walk, or simply head back to your apartment.
9:30 PM – DESSERT + DIGESTIVO
SAT, OCTOBER 19
7:30 AM – 9:00 AM – BREAKFAST AVAILABLE
A Tuscan breakfast and coffee will be provided. Enjoy your breakfast inside or “Al Fresco” outside on the terrace with the beautiful view of the vineyard.
10:00 AM – TRANSFER TO MONTEPULCIANO – DAY TRIP
You will be picked up in a private vehicle. Enjoy the drive through the Tuscan countryside to the hilltop town of Montepulciano.
11:30 AM – 1:30 PM – PRIVATE TOUR OF MONTEPULCIANO WITH LOCAL RESIDENT EXPERT GUIDE
You will be met in Montepulciano upon arrival by a local expert guide who will give you a private tour of the town, exclusively for our group.
1:30 PM – 5:00 PM – TIME TO EXPLORE IN MONTEPULCIANO
This is the time to wander, explore, and linger, get to know your favorite things about this amazing town. Have a lite lunch, find the best coffee shops (or ask us!), shop, linger in the Piazza Grande at a table with your favorite drink in the Tuscan sun. Soak up quintessential Tuscany.
***Both Amy and Maria will be here in Montepulciano with you all day, nearby, and at your complete disposal 100% of the time. We know Montepulciano very well, so ask us for recommendations if you like. We can provide reservation help, language help, or anything else.
5:00 PM – 7:30 PM – TYPICAL ITALIAN APERITIVO AL FRESCO, TOGETHER
We will meet at an incredible location in Montepulciano complete with a panoramic view of the Val d’Orcia and share wine or spritz, which will be served with lite “stuzzichini” (snacks meant to go with your drink). Dinner thereafter is on your own. We have many recommendations if you like.
9:00 PM – TRANSFER BACK TO AGRITURISMO
You will be picked up from Montepucliano in a private vehicle and driven back to your apartment at the agriturismo.
SUN, OCTOBER 20
7:30 AM – 9:00 AM – BREAKFAST AVAILABLE
A Tuscan breakfast and coffee will be provided. Enjoy your breakfast inside or “Al Fresco” outside on the terrace with the beautiful view of the vineyard.
9:30 AM – 11:30 AM – CLASS – ALL ABOUT TUSCAN WINE
A local wine expert will come to us, and provide a course on Italian and Tuscan wine basics. Included will be information on varieties of Tuscan wine, wine classification in Italy, the wine making process, the basics of how to interpret an Italian wine list, and anything else you may want to ask. This class is exclusive for our group – small, private, casual, and intimate. Feel free to ask what you like.
1:00 PM – 5:00 PM – COOKING WITH SIGNORA LAURA – TUSCAN SPECIALTIES + LUNCH
Get your aprons ready and enjoy a private cooking lesson with the matriarch of the family, Laura. Laura will help you prepare an antipasto, two pasta dishes, a main course, and a dessert. Enjoy the fruits of your labor together around her table.
5:00 PM – 7:30 PM – TIME TO RELAX, ENJOY THE TUSCAN COUNTRYSIDE
Wander the grounds, check out the wine, relax poolside, read your favorite book, and experience that slow Tuscan vibe.
***Remember Maria and Amy will be there with you the entire time as your own personal trip concierge. We can answer questions, help you plan travel after your trip with us at no extra charge, or just chat and get to know each other. We want you to have the best Italian experience!
7:30 PM – 9:30 PM – FAREWELL DINNER
You will be driven to the local town of Castellina in Chianti (a very short ~10 min drive) where we will all have dinner together and bid each other farewell – for now. You will be driven back to your apartment after dinner.
