Scappare Travel Club Experiences are different. We see, stay at, eat in, and vet each place personally before securing them for clients or curating itineraries. Many of these places are restaurants we eat in or hotels we stay in ourselves over and over again, or recommend to family and friends when they come to Italy. These are our “go-to’s”. We also do not recommend every place we have seen or stayed in just because we are familiar with it. Rather, the places to which we send our clients require certain attributes depending on the group or experience.
In a nutshell, we won’t just send you anywhere. All of our experiences are hand-picked, vetted, and known to us not only as Italy lovers and experts or travel curators but also as travelers ourselves with input from our trusted local contacts. Solo Traveler’s Club Experience:
Are you a solo traveler? Thinking about getting away to Europe but don’t know who to go with? Or maybe you have friends and family you love to travel with who can not take off just now but you can get away? We at Scappare Travel love and admire solo travelers! Window into one day: Morning local outdoor market shop in Florence with a local guide who knows the fruit & veg vendors by name, choosing fruit & veg for your Italian cooking class later that afternoon. Linger during aperitivo at sunset at a rooftop bar in Florence, overlooking the same piazza in which you shopped earlier getting to know your now-friends after a market-shopping and cooking day.
Couples + Couples Experience:
Do you and your significant other have other couples you love to do things with? Why not elevate your time out together and travel to Europe creating lifelong memories. It is more accessible than you may think, and we are here to curate an incredibly comfortable, rich, and memorable experience for you and your dear friends. Length: 8 days/7 nights
Window into one day: You all wake up canalside in Venice at your hotel right on the grand canal in your respective rooms and meet for a leisurely breakfast along the canal. Afterwards be guided to your tour of Doge’s Palace and Basilica San Marco skipping the line. Linger in the magnificent Piazza San Marco for your aperitivo hour and then tickets will be waiting for your group at will call at La Fenice Opera House for the evening’s concerto.
Meet & Greet Through Travel Experience:
Single? Sick of (or scared of) dating apps? If you are looking to mingle why not do it in Italy in a piazza with a spritz in your hand. What better way to break the ice than talking about the incredible painting you just saw or pasta you just ate, or figuring out how to order coffee in another language. Have fun, go with it, see what happens. We offer adult and mature adult experiences, all are curated to ensure a very comfortable, no-pressure meet & greet experience with a little bit of sparkle ✨ Length: 8 days/7 nights
Window into one day: Hands-on pasta making class in the day with a fun group of people, aperitivo outdoors in the best piazza in Florence mingling with your group and locals alike, then after dinner a late night wine bar experience in Florence with a walk home under the Florentine night sky. Window into one day: Photo shoot with a professional photographer in the best light of the morning hours in Rome while you see the sights with your friends, tickets to an amazing pool club during the afternoon to relax, sunbathe, swim, and do aperitivo. Then reservations for you and your friends at the most amazing trattoria where you’ll eat delicious Roman pasta.
