About Your Sicily Trip
This trip is fantastic, truly special, and we know you will fall in love with Sicily on day one. The trip is crafted to provide you with the most authentic Sicilian experience – and Sicily is truly special. With STC you will always own your own schedule and have leisure time for spontaneity, and at the same time be provided a myriad of local Sicilian experiences curated exclusively for our group. We have many friends and contacts in the region and you will meet them – and hopefully become friends too, just wait until you meet Massimo! You will enjoy the local cuisine, an entire course on Sicilian wine, an Italian For Travelers language course will be available to you, wine tours & tastings, day trips to both Ortigia, Siracusa, Catania, relaxing time at the most authentic Sicilian comfortable B&B, a Sicilian cooking class highlighting the local cuisine, and much more. You can even sit at one of the 6 tables outside Corrado Assenza’s famous Caffe Sicilia in Noto and eat granita + brioche for breakfast every single day if you want. Go crazy – try all the flavors. Sample Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival to Catania Airport:
We will meet at 1-2pm on the day of arrival and we have arranged a transfer to your accommodation in Siracusa or Catania. You will find Maria and Amy and the rest of your group there with a sign and our logo, waiting for you. Once we have everybody (or by 3:00pm) we will depart for your accommodation via private driver.
Day 1: Arrival at Your Hotel, Noto:
This is your home for the next 4 nights. We know you will not be disappointed. You will be well situated here in your own beautifully curated hotel/B&B room in the heart of the City Center. The incredible team at the Hotel will take good care of you during your stay. Maria and Amy will be there the entire time as well, functioning as your own personal trip concierge.
Day 2: Evening: Welcome dinner, Noto

A Few Trip Highlights:
Cooking Class highlighting typical Sicilian specialties
Get ready to get your apron on and get in the Sicilian kitchen and learn about the local cuisine and food traditions. With your local culinary expert at the helm you will dive into Sicilian food culture and mak antipasti, a pasta dish, a main course and side dish, and a dessert. Enjoy the fruits of your labor as you sit around the table together. Buon Appetito! Maria and Amy of course will be on the premises in the background in case you need anything.
Winery Tour + Tasting Experience.
Enjoy a slow and leisurely tour of a family owned and operated winery in the heart of Etna. Then sit together as you are led through a guided tasting of their gorgeous wines, estate grown and bottled.
Day Excursion to Ortigia
You will be taken by a private driver to the beautiful Ortigia where you will be met by a private guide who will show you the town. You’ll also have time to linger and explore on your own, and at sunset there will be a delicious and beautiful aperitivo waiting for our group. However, Amy and Maria will also be there to assist you in person with anything you need.
Sicilian wine class
A local wine expert will come to our group in Noto and provide for us a fun and informative course about Italian and Sicilian wine, its history, wine making methods and teach us the basics of how to interpret a Sicilian wine list, different classifications of Italian wine, etc. And of course – we will taste!
