About Your Florence + Tuscany Trip
This trip is ultra special, and close to our hearts. We designed it meticulously and it is based on years of insider knowledge in the region, past trips, and is full of details and extras to give you the same insider experience we enjoy here in Florence and Tuscany. With STC you will always own your own schedule and have leisure time for spontaneity, and at the same time be provided a myriad of local experiences curated exclusively for our group. We have many friends and contacts in the region and you will meet several of them – and hopefully become friends too! Day 1: Arrival to Florence Airport:
We will meet at 1-2pm on the day of arrival and we have arranged a transfer to your 4 or 5-Star hotel in Florence. The arrivals section of the Florence airport (Peretola) is fairly easy to navigate, You will find Maria and Amy and the rest of your group there with a sign and our logo, waiting for you. Once we have everybody (or by 3:00pm) we will depart for your Florence accommodation via private driver.
Day 1: Arrival at Your 5-Star Hotel, Florence:
This is your home for the next 3 nights. We know you will not be disappointed. You will be well situated here in your own beautifully curated hotel room in the heart of the City Center. The incredible team at the Hotel, who we know personally, will take good care of you during your stay. Maria and Amy will be there the entire time as well, functioning as your own personal trip concierge.

A Few Trip Highlights:
Cooking Class highlighting typical Tuscan specialties
Get ready to get your apron on and get in the Tuscan kitchen and learn about the local Tuscan cuisine and food traditions. With your instructor at the helm you will make an antipasti, 2 pasta dishes, a main course and side dish, and a dessert. Enjoy the fruits of your labor as you sit around her table together. Buon Appetito! Maria and Amy of course will be on the premises in case you need anything.
Winery Tour + Tasting Experience.
Enjoy a slow and leisurely tour of a family owned and operated winery in the heart of the Tuscan hills. Then sit together as you are led through a guided tasting of their gorgeous wines, estate grown and bottled.
Day Excursion to Montepulciano
You will be taken by a private driver to the Tuscan hilltop town of Montepulciano where you will be met by a private guide who will show you the town. You’ll also have time to linger and explore on your own, and at sunset there will be a delicious and beautiful aperitivo waiting for our group at the best spot with the best view, followed by a delicious Tuscan dinner at a traditional trattoria. Tuscan wine class
A local wine expert will come to our group in Florence and provide for us a fun and informative course about Italian and Tuscan wine, its history, wine making methods and teach us the basics of how to interpret an Italian wine list, different classifications of Italian wine, etc. And of course – we will taste!
